Auto Glass Week™, the three-day international event featuring auto glass repair and replacement competitions, educational seminars and an exhibition/extravaganza, is proud to announce that Personna, a leading manufacturer of consumer, professional and industrial products including blades and bladed hand tools, has become a sponsor of the event at the Copper level.
“Founded in 1875, Personna (formerly American Safety Razor) pioneered the first safety razor. Today, our worldwide facilities produce more blades than any other manufacturer. We offer over 130 years of precision quality blade manufacturing technology,” says Grahame Poferl, planning manager/sales.
As a Copper Sponsor of Auto Glass Week, Personna will be featured on the show floor September 18-20 in booth 223. Attendees can expect to see “a comprehensive offering of high-quality blades necessary to perform their job and manufacturing technology that exceeds any other blade manufacturer in the industry. All of this helps to enhance their performance and reduce costs,” explains Poferl.
Personna chose to sponsor Auto Glass Week 2013 to help benefit its brand exposure. “This is our first time to exhibit or attend Auto Glass Week, so we wanted to maximize our exposure. We are the premier manufacturer of blades selling through distribution. Auto Glass Week expands our brand recognition to end-users,” says Poferl.

Auto Glass Week draws more than 1,000 attendees and features top industry players on the show floor each year. The event will be held in Tampa, Fla., at the TampaConvention Center and the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina, September 18-20.
When asked if Personna had any advice for the 2013 repair and replacement competitors, Poferl wanted to remind competitors that “our blades are the sharpest and most durable in the industry. Please be careful. However, we will have band-aids available at our booth!”
