AGRSS Council to Auction Off a Signed, Authentic
Dick Butkus Jersey During Upcoming Charity Event
August 31, 2010
The Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards (AGRSS) Council Inc.
will be auctioning off a signed, authentic Dick Butkus jersey during
the upcoming annual auction in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., on October
27. The Chicago Bears jersey comes with a certificate of authenticity
and was donated by Chicago-based Glass America.
In addition to this prized item, other items for auction include
tickets to any Chicago Cubs game in 2011 (except for opening or
closing day) and tickets to see the Chicago Blackhawks, donated
by AGRR magazine/glassBYTEs.com.
SIKA Corp. global AGR marketing resource manager Carl Tompkins
also will again be donating one of the most prized "items"
of past auctions-a fishing trip in his hometown of Spokane, Wash.
The annual silent auction will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the
first day of the annual International
Auto Glass Safety (AGRSS) Conference, which is scheduled for
October 27-28 at the Drury Lane Conference Center. A cocktail party,
giving attendees a chance to network with other industry associates,
will be held in conjunction with the auction.
The group is continuing to gather items for the event. To donate,
please contact fundraising committee chair Jean Pero with Mygrant
glass via e-mail at jeanmygrantglass@comcast.net
or by phone at 303/292-3230.
