Glass Doctor Technician Wins Trip to Compete at Auto Glass Week™
April 19, 2012

A Glass Doctor technician came out on top at the April 14 company competition, the SMARTECH™ Olympics, in Altanta, Ga. The mystery technician from Charlotte, N.C. earned the highest score compared to the two prior semi-final competitions in Sacramento and Dallas and therefore definitely will be competing in the 7th Annual Pilkington Clear Advantage Auto Glass Technician Olympics taking place at Auto Glass Week™.

The two technicians with the best overall scores will be sent to represent the company at the industry-wide event in September. The only remaining semi-final competition will be held in Cleveland on May 5.

Auto Glass Week will be held September 20-22, 2012. The Exhibition/Extravaganza, including the Auto Glass Technician Olympics and the Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics, will be held September 21-22.

Auto Glass Week will bring together all of the major auto glass groups, including the Auto Glass Safety Council (formerly the AGRSS Council Inc.), Independent Glass Association (IGA), National Glass Association (NGA), the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA), along with AGRR™ magazine's Pilkington Clear Advantage Auto Glass Technician Olympics and Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics. The International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ also will be held concurrently. The event is managed by AGRR magazine.
