March 24, 2010

The Arizona auto glass bill designed to address auto glass shops and possible types of insurance fraud has passed out of the Arizona House of Representatives and onto the Arizona Senate. The House passed Arizona HB 2463 with a 50-4 vote.

The bill was amended in the House to include language addressing third-party glass claims administrators and falsifying information. (CLICK HERE for related story.)

"I just hope the Senate doesn't start a new round of changes," commented Kerry Soat, chief executive officer for Fas-Break and vice president of the Arizona Glass Association. "It should be quite acceptable to any honest glass shop in the state of Arizona."
