Hello, my name is _______________ and I support the Senate Transportation Striker to HB2063. Listed below are my reasons for the support.

a) It protects the consumer and the consumers' choice to make whatever decision they want on the choice of a repair facility without undue pressure from insurance companies or their agents.

b) I also have customers who prefer to make their own decisions and not have the insurance companies make the decision for them.

c) When a consumer makes a decision on an auto glass repair facility, insurance companies or their agents should not be allowed to use allusion, insinuation and statements that they do not know to be true to force consumers to change their minds about their selection.

d) The "Striker to HB2063" allows the insurance companies and it's agents to recommend additional auto glass repair facilities. It only stops them from statements they do not know to be true.

e) For example, if the insurance companies or its agents have certain experiences with a particular auto glass company then they can share those experiences with the insured because they know that they are true.

IF AN INSURED OR CLAIMANT HAS DECLARED TO THE INSURER OR THE INSURER'S AGENT THEIR CHOICE OF A REPAIR FACILITY, THE INSURER OR INSURER'S AGENT SHALL NOT MAKE ANY STATEMENT ABOUT THE INSURED OR CLAIMANT'S CHOICE OF REPAIR FACILITY THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW TO BE TRUE IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE INSURED OR CLAIMANT'S CHOICE OF REPAIR FACILITY NOR SHALL THE INSURER OR INSURER'S AGENT CREATE ANY DELAYS IN THE PROGRESS OF THE REPAIR OR PROCESSING OF THE CLAIM THAT THEY WOULD HAVE NOT HAVE MADE HAD THE INSURED CHOSEN A REPAIR FACILITY RECOMMENDED BY THE INSURER OR THE INSURER'S AGENT.
