Belron US Expands National Training Program

Columbus, Ohio-based Belron US, the parent company of Safelite Auto Glass, has named Bridget McColgan to the newly created position of national field sales trainer.

Working within the auto glass industry for nearly 20 years, McColgan was an area sales manager with Safelite in the Boston market for 15 years. McColgan, who has moved to Columbus for her new role, will focus on developing a training model and course content for the field sales force, educating existing and future Belron US field sales associates and serving in an ongoing training support role for the field sales team. She also will be responsible for working with cross-functional company leaders to help enhance sales efforts.

"With the integration of several brands, cultures and ways of selling, as well as a high emphasis on profitably growing sales, we felt it was the ideal time to create this key position," says Gerry Tann, vice president, field sales. "Because of her experience, her leadership and her ability to teach others, Bridget is an excellent fit for this position and to help us take our sales efforts to the next level."
