Three New DOT Numbers Awarded for Auto Glass

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently has awarded three new DOT numbers to auto glass-related product manufacturers, two based in the United States and one in China.
DOT No. 989 was awarded to Palram Americas Inc. in Kutztown, Pa. The polycarbonate manufacturer is a division of Palram Industries, according to the company’s website.
Total Plastics Inc. was awarded DOT No. 990. The Kalamazoo, Mich.-based company manufactures a number of products, including MAKROLON® transportation-grade polycarbonate sheet for use in aftermarket automotive parts, military vehicle glazing and laminated security glazing.
DOT No. 991 went to Changzhou Modern Expo Technology Co. Ltd., which is based in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China.
