Diamond Motions for Approval of Solicitation Package; Deadline for Objections of Plan

Diamond Glass, now known as DG Liquidation Corp. in its bankruptcy proceedings, has filed a motion for approval of its solicitation packages and approval of the notice of its confirmation hearing. In addition, the motion looks to establish a deadline and procedures for objections to the confirmation of the company's Chapter 11 plan. The motion was filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, where the case has been under review for the last several months, since the company initially filed for bankruptcy on April 1. The solicitation packages in question will go to creditors and those with potential interest in the case, according to court documents.

Diamond is requesting that the court set a deadline of October 17 for objections to the plan, which was filed with the court in August. (CLICK HERE for related story.)
