Doctor Promoting Windshield Safety
Waco, Texas-based Glass Doctor and its franchisees is working to
promote windshield safety throughout the United States through both
national and local efforts. Glass Doctor's corporate office issued
a press release on April 5 called "Don't Miss the Obvious When It
Comes to Vehicle Safety." The release describes the function of
a windshield as a safety mechanism for consumers and was issued
to media outlets across the United States, including "24-7pressrelease.com."

In addition, Mark Borchin, owner of the Gold Country, Calif.-based
Glass Doctor franchise, has announced that he will host a California
Department of Insurance-approved seminar for insurance agents and
consumers on Friday, April 11.
"Originally, this seminar was just for agents," Borchin told the Amador
Ledger Dispatch, "but we opened it up to the public because quality
and safety are priceless. We need to educate the public on auto glass
replacement standards, because people are dying needlessly due to
