Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run; Columbus Police Seek Driver

Columbus, Ohio police are searching for an unknown driver responsible for killing a yet-unnamed pedestrian in a hit-and-run accident around 11 p.m. Wednesday night. The vehicle is suspected to have sustained windshield damage, in addition to other front end parts.

The accident occurred on U.S. Route 62 near Big Tree Drive. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital, but later died. Police are withholding the pedestrian's identity pending notification of the family.
