Mainstreet Computers Partners with Local Charity

Mainstreet Computers, based in Belleville, Mich., is partnering with local charity Help's on the Way in Dearborn, Mich.

The charity provides clothing, food and spiritual support and has helped more than 50,000 people in need. Mainstreet intends to donate $1 for every "like" received on its Facebook page to go towards the charity's goal of reaching $50,000 by the end of the year. This money will help the non-profit organization settle debts and expand to provide enhanced distribution services.

"I am honored to help an organization like this that is focused on helping people with their physical and spiritual needs," says David Carnahan, Mainstreet's president and founder. "We thank everyone in advance for taking time to 'like' our new Facebook page and allowing us to give on their behalf. We also ask them to consider giving to Help's on the Way directly via their website."

The non-profit accepts clothing, food and service donations in addition to financial support.
