Safelite Recognized for Radio Ads by Insider Radio

Safelite Auto Glass recently was recognized as the top radio advertiser in the country for the week of March 31, during which the company ran 39,000 radio commercials—nearly 1,000 more than Home Depot, according to reports from Insider Radio.

“From nowhere to #1 is an amazing achievement,” says Matt Johnson, media director for Belron US, parent company of Safelite AutoGlass. “And, especially when you see who we are ahead of. It’s a step towards our goal to become a well known national brand. It puts us in good company with well-known leaders in advertising.”

Safelite’s radio advertising promos hit the nationwide airways on March 23 and mainly focus on the importance of windshield repair, according to the company. All the ads feature current Belron US technicians.

The advertising initiative will run through the spring and summer and coverage will include all 50 states.
