Insurance Companies React to Charley

State Farm Insurance Co., has issued a press release from Winterhaven, Fla. stating that as of August 15 it had received 19,454 homeowner and 1,552 auto insurance claims as a result of Hurricane Charley.

The company expects the number to rise as power and order are restored to the more heavily damaged communities.
