Ohio Insurance Agents Penalized for Falsifying Continuing Education Information

The Ohio Department of Insurance issued consent orders to agents Jonathan E. Thornberry of Independence, Ky., and Paul G. Sittenfeld of Cincinnati, Ohio, for “Falsifying continuing education information.”

“Sittenfield allowed Thornberry to complete an online Ohio continuing education course on his behalf,” according to a statement from the Ohio Insurance Department. “The agents agreed to pay a $1,500 civil penalty and $500 in administrative costs.”
