PGW Sees 2014 as a Year of Growth

This year will be one of growth for the distribution business, albeit at an incremental pace, according to Brian Bauer, vice president of sales for PGW. The company is looking to “fill gaps” in its distribution service area and just opened a new distribution facility at 115 West La Cadena Drive, Riverside, Calif.

“The ever increasing rate of repairs is affecting growth in replacements,” says Bauer.

He believes consumers will become more interested in safety and how windshields are installed as time progresses.

The new California distribution center will be offering a plethora of specials throughout February. The grand opening celebration will be held Wednesday, February 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will feature burgers, drinks and plenty of door prizes, including an Equalizer Black Ops cutout tool, $50 gift cards and more.

The company’s distribution centers carry a wide range of installation materials and tools, stocking more than 7,800 parts and accessories.

    PGW is dead in the water…They are not price competitive with IGC…how am i going to pay 305 at PGW for a windshield when I can get it from IGC for 125 and its a PGW windshield…They’d rather look at the glass then sell it. I was told by the sells rep in my market they couldn’t go any lower on pricing, but the continue to cater to the larger companies…haven’t bought anything lately…
