The 2014 Auto Glass Week™ (AGW), set to be held October 7-9, 2014, at the Baltimore Convention Center and Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, has something for everyone, including the whole family. While the event will offer educational seminars, an exhibition hall and the attendee-favorite, annual competitions, the city delivers an experience like no other.

Held in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the event promises an exciting time. With a variety of attractions such as Geppi’s Entertainment Museum, a pop culture arts center with family-friendly exhibits, and historic Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles, all close by, there will be no shortage of sites to see.

Also nearby is the National Aquarium, which recently opened its Blacktip Reef exhibit, a replication of the Indo-Pacific reefs featuring blacktip reef sharks. The city is also home to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum, which displays an American railroad collection. If art is what you’re looking for, the Baltimore Museum of Art, James E. Lewis Museum of Art, Maryland Women’s Heritage Center and Museum and Reginald F. Lew Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture are also nearby.

For sports fans, not only is the city home to Major League Baseball team the Baltimore Orioles, but also the National Football League’s 2000 and 2012 Super Bowl Champions, the Baltimore Ravens. The Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum and Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards also offers sports fans a unique touring opportunity.

History buffs will also find an array of cultural landmarks to visit. As a former U.S. capital (for three brief months during the Second Continental Congress), the birthplace of Francis Scott Key’s “The Star-Spangled Banner” and home to Edgar Allen Poe and Billie Holiday, the city has no shortage of history.

Food and nightlife also make up part of the city’s charm. Known for its seafood, Baltimore offers a variety of restaurants, including the famous Phillips Seafood at Inner Harbor. Nightclubs, pubs, dancing and live music also are within walking distance of our host hotel and the convention center.

The annual AGW, once again sponsored by the Auto Glass Safety Council, Independent Glass Association, National Glass Association, National Windshield Repair Association and AGRR™ magazine, will bring together all aspects of the automotive glass industry. Tools, mouldings, adhesive systems, automotive glass and more will be on display, discussed in seminars and incorporated within demonstrations and the two high-energy competitions.

Register to attend today. Interested attendees can register online to receive the early bird pricing of $199 and save $20 per person versus pre-registration pricing. The early bird registration discount ends April 30, 2014.
