Auto Glass Week™ Announces New Sponsor: DINOL

DINOL, a leading, worldwide operating supplier of systems for bonding, sealing, noise reduction, abrasion protection, corrosion prevention, other coatings and application equipment, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Auto Glass Week™ at the Cobalt level. The three-day international event features automotive glass repair and replacement competitions, educational seminars and an exhibition/extravaganza where sponsoring companies will be seen.

Auto Glass Week is the “perfect place to bring our industry together once a year, to train, educate, and demonstrate new technologies, create product awareness, and for glass professionals to discuss challenges and unique market situations each may face,” according to Joseph Renzi, business manager of DINOL Americas.

As a Sponsor of Auto Glass Week, DINOL will be featured on the show floor October 7-9 and will be displaying “our new high technology 30-minute safe drive away, cold applied, high modulus, non-conductive product, as well as a new primerless to glass urethane adhesive with a three-hour safe drive away time. Customers, owners and technicians can stop by our booth to learn more about these great products,” Renzi stated.

DINOL chose to sponsor Auto Glass Week 2014, because they have “been a proud sponsor of Auto Glass Week for years and enjoy meeting with our customers and prospects to find solutions and opportunities where we can assist them,” explained Renzi.

The annual event, managed by AGRR™ magazine and co-sponsored by the Auto Glass Safety Council, Independent Glass Association, National Glass Association and National Windshield Repair Association, draws more than 1,000 attendees and features top industry players on the show floor each year. Auto Glass Week will be held in Baltimore, Md., at the Baltimore Convention Center and Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.

When asked if he had any advice for the 2014 repair and replacement contestants, Renzi answered that “safety should always be the most important focus of today’s technicians. Please ensure to follow all manufacturers’ written instructions no matter what products or equipment you use to perform the replacement or repair.”
