Early bird registration for Auto Glass Week™ 2014 closes in just one month, so now is the time to book your trip and secure your spot before the highest discounts end!
Auto Glass Week will be held October 7-9, 2014, at the Baltimore Convention Center and is once again sponsored by the Auto Glass Safety Council, Independent Glass Association, National Glass Association, National Windshield Repair Association and AGRR™ magazine.
Interested attendees can register online for the early bird discounted price of $199, saving up to $50 per person versus registering onsite, until close of business on April 30. This registration includes access to all seminars, workshops, social events and admittance to the Auto Glass Week Exhibition/Extravaganza, which will once again host industry suppliers, as well as the annual repair and replacement competitions.
Our host hotel, the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, is offering discounted room rates starting at $149 USD per night, plus tax. You may call 800/228-9290 and ask for the Auto Glass Week block and give code AGWAGWA or make your confirmation online. This rate will be available through September 15 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Also, if you are a technician and interested in competing, registration is open for AGRR™ magazine’s Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO) and Windshield Repair Olympics in Honor of Walt Gorman. Registered competitors will compete over three days for the title of “World’s Best Auto Glass Technician” and “World’s Best Windshield Repair Technician” at the Baltimore Convention Center. The champion of each event will be crowned at the Gala Awards Reception and Ceremony on Thursday, October 9. The registration deadline to compete is August 15.
Automotive glass technicians looking to develop their credentials may also register for a separate educational and testing course scheduled for Thursday, October 9. Technicians who would like to become an Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) Accredited Technician can sign up for this one-day, fast-track Technician Training to become even more established in the trade. The International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ will also be held concurrently, where window film technicians compete to win prestigious titles. Your Auto Glass Week registration will also grant you access to view the Tint-Off™ competitions, sessions and events.
