
AGRR magazine and glassBYTEs.com editor Jenna Reed and vice president of media services’ Holly Biller accept the regional Azbee awards in Arlington, Va., this week.
AGRR™ magazine and glassBYTEs.com™ editor Jenna Reed and vice president of media services Holly Biller recently accepted several regional American Society of Business Publication Editors’ (ASBPE) awards, affectionately known as the Azbee awards, on behalf of Key Communications, parent company to AGRR. The awards are for AGRR’s sister publications, DWM magazine, USGlass Magazine and Window Film.
The DWM video newscast, produced by DWM magazine, took home the gold. It is also one of three national finalists for the category of Video News in the Online Division.
Editor/Publisher Tara Taffera and video producer Chris Bunn will be recognized for their efforts when the winners are announced at the Awards Banquet and Ceremony, July 25, 2014, in Chicago.
“We are so pleased to receive this nomination as a finalist for this award,” says Taffera. “It is nice to see our efforts recognized.”
USGlass Magazine was recognized for editorial excellence in the special section category for “Shattering the Original Glass Ceiling” by editor Ellen Rogers. It took home the bronze award in the regional competition.
“It was an honor to have the efforts of our editorial team recognized this year,” said Debra Levy, publisher of USGlass Magazine. “The staff put a great deal of work into providing this feature for our industry, so it is nice to see our efforts recognized.”
The FILM’d video newscast, produced by Window Film magazine, took home the gold. It is also one of three national finalists in the category of Webcast Series. The magazine was nominated in this category last year and was named the Gold Award winner, as well in 2012.
Editor Casey Neeley and video producer Bunn will be recognized for their efforts when the national winners are announced at the Awards Banquet and Ceremony on July 25, 2014.

The national award is incredibly competitive as entrants are compared against publications from New York, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and across the country.
