Safelite CEO Tom Feeney’s fundraiser video chat for the Ronald McDonald House charities slated for this evening will be rescheduled due his flight to Florida being delayed. “We will find another date to reschedule it,” says Melina Metzger, public relations manager.
“Tom is in transit to Florida and his flight was delayed for four hours so yes, we had to postpone it and we will find another date to reschedule it. It’s not canceled,” she says.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we might have caused you and will let you know what the new chat date is as soon as we know,” writes John Weiler, co-founder of heroes2u.com. “If you would like a refund for your ticket just let us know and we can do that for you, or if you would like a free ticket to any chat in the future. Your donation still stands for Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio, and we thank you for supporting such a great cause!”
Feeney was scheduled to participate in a video question-and-answer program on July 2 at 8 p.m. in which ticket purchasers had the opportunity to ask Feeney questions and chat with him about anything. The cost to participate was $5 per ticket.
