Ohio State University Stadium Now Features Safelite AutoGlass Logo on Goal Net

Columbus, Ohio-based Safelite AutoGlass has reached a five-year partnership agreement with the Ohio State Athletics for a sponsored logo on the Buckeye’s field goal net along with signage and co-branded advertisements.

“While the scope of Safelite’s business is national, their home is here, and that is evident through the company’s strong commitment to central Ohio, the city of Columbus, the Ohio State community and their local employees,” says Ray DeWeese, general manager at Ohio State IMG Sports Marketing, the university’s multimedia rights partner.

“The Ohio State Buckeyes are renowned for their longstanding traditions and winning performances,” said Safelite AutoGlass’s advertising director Matt Johnson. “As we focus on building a nationally recognized brand, we are proud to be affiliated with this iconic college program and to support our local teams.”

Safelite employs close to 1,600 people in central Ohio who work in either the corporate headquarters, the retail automotive glass operations, or one of its two north-side contact centers, according to the company.
