Up to golf-ball sized hail pummeled parts of the Denver, Co., community this week leading to damaged vehicle windows, houses and more. “One of our company trucks got damaged,” according to John Novak, owner of Cornerstone Auto Glass in Conifer, Co.
“We are up in the mountain area and outside of Denver,” he says. “We’ve had a couple of bad hailstorms. The body shops are likely swamped. Some windshields are likely broken, but not a lot of sidelites or backlites were broken. We were able to get paintless dent repair done on our truck and it’s back in action.”
“The hail was very damaging,” according to a customer service representative who answered the phone for MAACO Collision Repair & Glass in Littleton, Co.
“It’s been really bad, but my area was not hit as hard. The surrounding miles around us got hit really bad. We’re hearing about damage,” he adds.
“We’re doing just fine,” notes a customer service representative for Speedy Glass. “We didn’t get a lot of damage. We also didn’t hear of a lot of vehicle damage. It sounds like it is more house and personal property damage.”
Glass Doctor of Denver appeared busy. The phone just kept ringing and after it was answered, glassBYTEs.com™ editors were placed on hold for a long period of time.
