The finalists for the GlasWeld Windshield Repair Competition in Honor of Walt Gorman have been announced. The three individuals moving on to the finals are Robert Rask of IntegraGlass in Orem, Utah; Chris Smith of Delta Sonic in Lake View, N.Y.; and Braulio Lopez of Cristalbox Express in Lugo, Spain.
Rask, 41, is the CEO of IntegraGlass. He has four years of experience in the industry and placed third in the 2012 Windshield Repair Competition. This is his third year competing. Rask’s wife, Melissa, and son, Jacob, are here to cheer him on.
Smith, 27, is the glass manager of Delta Sonic. He has six years of industry experience and placed second in the 2011 and 2012 Windshield Repair Competition. He took third in the 2010 Windshield Repair Competition. This is his seventh year competing. Smith and his wife, Kate, have one son, Cooper.
Lopez. 40, has 15 years of experience. He took home the gold in the 2011 GlasWeld repair competition in Spain and in the 2013 Windshield Repair Competition in Honor of Walt Gorman. He and his wife, Araceli, have two children, Laura and Alex.
