Pilkington Auto Glass Technician Competition Finalists Announced

The Pilkington Auto Glass Technician Competition finalists are Alfredo Calva of Alfredo’s Auto Glass, Mark Browning of Glasspro, Sam Shipley of Maryland Auto Glass and Chris Lewis of Techna Glass.

Calva, 30, is the owner of Alfredo’s Auto Glass in Corona, Calif. He has 14 years of experience. He and his wife, Susan, have three children, Alfredo, Miguel and Julian.

Browning, 41, is an automotive glass technician for Glasspro in Goose Creek, S.C.  He has 18 years of experience. Mark and his wife, Misty, have three children, Brooke, Kaylee and Jordan.

Shipley, 39, has 20 years of experience. He is the owner of Maryland Auto Glass in Biglerville, Pa. He and his wife, Brandee, have two children, Kayla and Caleb.

Lewis, 36, is the manager of Techna Glass in Salt Lake City. He has 18 years of experience. He and his wife, Candace, have seven children, Justine, Skyler, Kasen, Paislee, Daisey, Kayla and Jamin.

The finals will be held tomorrow morning from 10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m., and the winners will be announced tomorrow night at the Gala and Awards Reception and Ceremony from  to 7 p.m. The Pilkington Auto Glass Technician Olympics is being held this week in Baltimore as part of Auto Glass Week™, which concludes tomorrow.
