N.J. Replacement Technician Indicted on Theft Charges

James Aughey has been indicted by a grand jury on theft charges for “performing windshield installations as an employee of Vision Quest Auto Glass, collecting cash payments from customers and keeping the money for his own benefit,” according to the Hunterdon County, N.J., Prosecutor’s office.

The alleged theft took place in Readington, N.J., from March 3, 2013 to March 21, 2014.

“It is something that really irked us,” according to the customer service representative who answered the phone. She preferred not to be publically identified. The company owner Joseph Quartuccio is currently on vacation.

“That’s really all there is to say,” she adds. “He was keeping the money.”
