Last Friday the 13th seemed to be a lucky day for Abra Auto Body and Glass.
The company announced it is continuing its aggressive nationwide expansion efforts with the purchase of four Interstate Glass centers in the Raleigh, N.C., area.
The purchase will expand the company’s reach into the Tar Heel State just seven months after Abra introduced glass operations in the Charlotte metro area.
“We’ve purchased a well-established and respected brand and are proud to be
able to continue to service Interstate’s customers in Raleigh and the surrounding area,” says Jim Richardson, Abra’s vice president of auto glass. “We appreciate the tremendous support we’ve received and look forward to showing customers our innovative service model.”
The addition of the four Interstate Glass locations brings Abra’s portfolio to 266 repair centers in 20 states.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
