“We know a lot of people are very interested in our All-in-One Primer, BETAPRIME™ 5504G, and its performance on the aluminum alloy body of the 2015 Ford F-150,” adds Malcolm. “In addition to windshield bonding, The F-150 utilizes BETAMATE™ structural adhesives for durability, weight reduction and improved manufacturing efficiencies.”
The company is returning as a Sponsor for Auto Glass Week because, “Auto Glass Week is an important meeting place for all members of the auto glass replacement industry. It is an opportunity for everyone to exchange ideas in a comfortable setting,” says Malcolm.
Mark your calendars now to visit with Dow Automotive Systems Aftermarket on the exhibition floor, as well as all the Sponsors at this year’s event. Registration for Auto Glass Week 2015 is open and pre-registration discounts end September 8.
The annual event, co-sponsored by AGRR™ magazine, Auto Glass Safety Council™, Independent Glass Association, National Glass Association and National Windshield Repair Association, draws attendees and top players from throughout the industry to the exhibition floor each year. Auto Glass Week will be held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center and Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nev.
Offering some advice to the Automotive Glass Repair and Replacement competitors, Malcolm says, “Contamination on the windshield isn’t always visible, so it’s important to include contamination removal as part of your standard operating procedure when prepping replacement glass. Competitors in the Auto Glass Technician Competitions should familiarize themselves with the rules and conditions, as well as ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS™ Standard and ASM instruction and documentation.”
