The Boyd Group has acquired a collision repair center in Plainwell, Mich. The center has approximately 12,500 square feet of production space and previously operated under the name McDonald’s Auto Body.
It will now operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass brand.
“With three locations in Grand Rapids and two in Kalamazoo, this new center in Plainwell fills a gap between the two areas and adds to our brand presence in southwestern Michigan,” says Tim O’Day, president and chief operating officer of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations.
“We are also proud to acquire this location which has served the Plainwell area for over 17 years,” O’Day adds. “We look forward to becoming part of the community and providing the high quality service we are known for at all our Gerber repair centers.”
