The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) Silent Charity Auction will once again be held on the exhibition floor at this year’s Auto Glass Week™. The auction will take place Thursday, October 1, from 3 to 5 p.m. and helps raise proceeds for the AGSC, a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the proper installation of windshields and offers a registration program for shops that includes random third-party validations.
Donations are currently being accepted for the Silent Charity Auction. Past items up for auction have included jewelry, digital cameras, art, electronics, travel, industry tools and more.
A final list of auction items will be available in the official Auto Glass Week show program. Final bids are taken at 4:45 p.m. and winners are announced at 5:00 p.m.
Attendees can pre-register for Auto Glass Week to attend the Silent Charity Auction, which is now in its ninth year. Interested attendees can register online for a pre-registration discounted price of $249, saving $40 versus registering on-site. This registration includes access to all the educational seminars, the keynote address by Jack Welch and access to the Auto Glass Week exhibition floor and the concurrent event, International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT).
Auto Glass Week draws a vast array of attendees and exhibitors and features top industry players on the show floor each year. The event will be held in Reno, Nev. at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center and the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, September 30-October 2.
