This fast-paced overview and workshop is about those financial principles that are essential to any manager or owner attempting to run a successful AGRR business. This session will cover, in an easily understandable and painless fashion, topics such as how the “elasticity of demand” impacts your business, how to properly and quickly calculate a breakeven point for your business, the importance of proper forecasting, how to avoid the drain of margin erosion, when a price increase (or reduction) is in order, what financial ratios are critical to understand and use and other issues.

Lyle R. Hill is the managing director of Keytech North America, a company providing research and technical services for automotive and architectural glass industries. Hill has more than 40 years’ experience, including ownership of an AGRR chain in the early 2000s, and nearly 20 years before that working for Joe Kellman of Globe Glass.
