ABRA Auto Body & Glass has donated more than $12,000 to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The hospital is located in Nashville, Tenn.
The money was gifted during a check presentation on October 1, 2015 and funds were raised through ABRA’s fourth annual charity golf outing at Gaylord Springs Golf Links.
The hospital will use the gift to support lifesaving research and vital programs for patients and parents, according to the company. This 271 bed facility offers a special environment for children with health issues ranging from broken bones to heart disease and cancer.
“We are honored by the continuous support ABRA has shown our hospital,” says Chris Lee, associate director of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. “It is generous donations from organizations like ABRA that allow us to identify cures and better treatments for the children in our community, and this donation will help us provide the best possible care to our patients and families.”
Regional Vice President for ABRA Auto Body and Glass, adds, “Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt provides incredible hope to children and families facing many injuries, illnesses and disease. It is with great pleasure that we continue to support this wonderful organization in its mission to deliver the highest quality medical care to children in need.”
