LKQ Corp., parent company to Pittsburgh Glass Works, announced the company is now listed on the S&P 500 Index. This became effective at the close of trading on May 20, 2016.
First published in 1957, the S&P 500 Index consists of 500 stocks chosen for market size, liquidity and industry grouping, among other factors. LKQ Corp. has been added as a constituent to the S&P 500 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Distributors Sub-Industry Index, according to LKQ Corp.’s statement.
