Farmers Insurance Customers Can File Glass Claims Via New System

fingertipsFarmers Insurance has introduced an Enterprise First Notice of Loss (EFNOL) system that gives customers one platform to report vehicle claims, including automotive glass claims, according to a company spokesperson.

“When they file an auto glass claim, they may select a glass repair [or replacement] facility of their choosing,” says Trevor Chapman, a Farmers Insurance spokesperson.

The company’s third-party automotive glass claims administrator is Safelite Solutions.

The customer can file the claim at via a computer, smartphone or tablet.

Once the customer files, he or she will receive a summary including their assigned adjuster, information on the repair shop they selected or other services chosen, according to Chapman.

In addition to filling vehicle and glass claims, a customer can schedule services such as rental vehicles and more.

“Designed with customer-ease top of mind, the EFNOL platform provides a streamlined process for customers who want to keep their agent involved in the claim process or who are looking for a self-service option through,” says Keith Daly, chief claims officer.
