More details have emerged about the Farmers Insurance Enterprise First Notice of Loss (EFNOL) program. If a Farmers Insurance customer indicates a preference for an AGRR company via the new claims system, then the customer will receive a call from its claims administrator. Safelite Solutions serves as Farmers Insurance’s automotive glass claims administrator.
“Customers are asked if they have a shop in mind,” says Trevor Chapman, a Farmers Insurance spokesperson. “If they do, their contact information is gathered and the customer is contacted to help them set up their repairs with the shop of their choice. A call is necessary as we do not have access into non-program shop availability.”
If the customer does not indicate a preference, the software will schedule an appointment with Safelite AutoGlass, according to Chapman.
The EFNOL system was created to give customers one platform to report vehicle claims, including automotive glass claims, according to Chapman.
