BELGIUM—Guardian Glass Moves European Auto Activities Under New Business Unit

Guardian Glass’ automotive activities in Europe have been integrated into a single business. Guardian Automotive combines the company’s European manufacturing facilities, as well as warehousing and distribution services, which were previously run as separate entities.

Guardian Automotive currently has two manufacturing facilities in Llodio and Valencia, Spain, and a central warehouse in Karlsruhe, Germany, which serve distributors and AGRR service locations.

The leadership team is based in Luxembourg, Belgium. Olivier Demeijer, business leader Guardian Automotive Europe, will head the team.

“We have a unique value proposition,” he says. “Currently, we are the only manufacturer focusing exclusively on automotive replacement glass. And our key message is that we are here to create long-term value for our customers.”

Demeijer adds: “As part of Guardian Glass, we have access to the same glass and coating technologies that are being applied in iconic building projects around the world, including the world’s tallest, the Burj Khalifa in the UAE and France’s latest landmark building, La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux. Moreover, all our activities are fully supported by the extensive R&D and technical services of Guardian Glass.”
