Key Communications, publishers of AGRR™ magazine, has named Phillip Thompson as the new editor of AGRR™ magazine, and Virginia Rosell as the director of events. Current AGRR™ editor Jenna Reed is moving to the digital media services (DMS) department in the position of marketing assistant.
Thompson has more than 20 years’ experience in the journalism industry, with newsroom experience in magazine and newspaper writing, fiction and nonfiction writing. He has served as a reporter and editor for the Navy Times and Marine Corps Times, and as a reporter and news editor for a daily newspaper in Mississippi.
“Jenna will serve as a great resource to Key’s DMS team though we are sorry to see her move to another department,” says Tara Taffera, AGRR™ editorial director. “It will be great to have her here to help Phillip transition to this role—one in which I know he will excel.”
Rosell is filling the new position of director of events for
Key Communications. As a CMP and CMM, she has more than 30 years of experience in event management and meeting planning. She has worked for organizations including the Association for Talent Development, Catholic Charities USA, Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, The Brookings Institution and George Mason University. She also served as Confidential Assistant, The White House – Executive Office of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy.

All three staff members will be present at Auto Glass Week being held October 5-7, 2016 in San Antonio.
