T.E.S.T. Kfz-Ersatzteile GmbH will sponsor Auto Glass Week™ 2016 this fall in San Antonio, Texas. The three-day international event will feature automotive glass repair and replacement competitions, educational seminars and an exhibition floor.
“The most beneficial part of being a sponsor is an opportunity to meet and speak one-on-one with industry decision makers, market shapers and other professionals,” says Tautvydas Songaila, business development executive.
“We decided to sponsor Auto Glass Week this year because our company is ready to enter the biggest original/genuine auto glass market in the world,” he adds. “We are an experienced wholesaler offering competitive prices, big volumes and a high-level service.”
When asked to describe the event in one word, he said promising.
The company will be at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 5-7 featuring its products on the exhibition floor.
“Our company is an original/genuine auto glass wholesaler for German and Japan makes, so we will present what we are doing, how we are doing and why our company could be a good partner for U.S companies,” Songaila says.
A hot topic at this year’s event will be how the AGRR industry handles recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after a windshield replacement.
“In our opinion technicians should always follow the car manufacturer news, participate in the workshops and keep learning. This event is a perfect place to learn new things,” Songaila says.
The annual event, co-sponsored by the Auto Glass Safety Council™, Independent Glass Association, National Glass Association, National Windshield Repair Association™ and AGRR™ magazine, draws attendees and top players from throughout the industry to the exhibition floor each year.
