DOT Numbers Awarded to 3 Foreign Glass Companies

The Department of Transportation recently awarded DOT numbers to three international automotive glass companies.

flag_of_the_united_states_department_of_transportation-svgMagna International, a Canadian global automotive supplier headquartered in Aurora, Ontario, Canada, received DOT Number 1075. Magna has 309 manufacturing operations and 99 product development, engineering and sales centers in 29 countries, with more than 152,000 employees, according to the company’s website.

Chinese companies Longkou An’tai Glass Co., Ltd., and Zhangjiagang City Zaofa Safety Glass Co., Ltd., received DOT Number 1076 and 1077, respectively.

Zhangjiagang City Zaofa Safety Glass Co. produces automotive, architectural, furniture and other glass. The company has produced glass products since 1992, with more than 300 employees in its 35,000 square meter plant.

No further information on Longkou An’tai Glass Co., Ltd., was available.
