NWRA Break Identification Standard Committee Meets to Review Public Comments

The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) Break Identification Standard (BIS) Committee met yesterday in San Antonio,  to review and discuss public comments and draft language to the proposed ANSI/NWRA/BIS 001-2016 Standard.

The committee approved the minutes of its last meeting and then began discussion on the various public comments associated with the draft standard. Several of the comments had to do with the BIS position grid and a need for clearer definitions.

The committee eventually accepted changes to the draft standard and intends to make the next version public in two weeks.

The committee met during Auto Glass Week, which concludes today in San Antonio. Stay tuned to glassBYTEs.com™ for the latest from the event.
