The Allstate Corporation has posted its common and preferred dividends for the 2016 third quarter.
The company declared a quarterly dividend of 33 cents on each outstanding share of the corporation’s common stock, payable in cash on January 3, 2017, to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 30, 2016, according to a release on the Allstate website.
The Allstate Corporation also declared about $29.1 million in aggregate dividends on five series of preferred stock for the dividend period from October 15, 2016 through January 14, 2017. A chart describing the series can be read here.
“We remain committed to proactively returning cash to Allstate shareholders,” said Steven Shebik, Allstate’s chief financial officer. “Allstate returned $389 million to shareholders during the third quarter of 2016 through a combination of common stock dividends and common share repurchases.”
