Glass.com® has won the prestigious the American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA for the design of its new website, according to a Glass.com press release dated January 10.
“From nearly 10,000 entries, just a small percentage of projects—including design of the Glass.com website—were selected as winners,” said officials from GDUSA. “The performance is, in a nutshell, exceptional.”
The Glass.com site allows consumers to search for replacement auto glass in their zip code and receive instant quotes from local shops. Their information is then sent directly to the shop. The affiliated shops, have full control over pricing, targeted service areas and their company profile, and are able to manage leads from a personalized dashboard. The company partnered with a website development firm for the custom website and launched officially on October 1, 2016.
The site was designed with small and medium-sized businesses in mind, but is also robust enough to accommodate large companies with multiple locations and thousands of service areas – all from the same account.
Other notable winners from 2016 include Adobe, Angie’s List, Boeing, and Home Depot, among others.
