Nissan Recalls More than 300,000 Vehicles

Nissan North America has recently issued a recall on certain 2015-2017 Altima sedans due to faulty wiring of rear windows. According to the notice, 341,005 vehicles may be affected.

“The rear door latch/lock cable on the vehicles may have been improperly routed. As a result, lowering a rear window may inadvertently cause that door to unlatch and open,” the recall states.

The notice says Nissan will notify owners of the affected vehicles, and dealers will fix the rear door latch/lock cable routing at no cost to the owner. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
