National Windscreens Opens 108th ADAS Center

National Windscreens announces that a new flagship fitting and calibration center has just been opened in Romford, England.
The Romford center forms part of the company’s major UK-wide investment program to meet the massive growth in demand for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) camera calibration following windscreen replacement.

Many ADAS features operate in conjunction with cameras mounted on windscreens, meaning that, after a replacement, camera calibration is necessary to ensure the systems continue to operate as intended.

These new premises in Romford are a part of a commitment by National Windscreens to provide service for ADAS camera calibration with a one-stop replacement and calibration service at all 108 of its locations. That means a UK motorist is never more than 11 miles or 20 minutes from a technician, according to the company

Mark Payne, the operations director responsible for the Romford fitting and calibration center, said, “As this center is so near to the M25, which carries some 200,000 vehicles a day, it is likely to be extremely busy. These new premises offer the space required to service this level of demand and to house the calibration equipment now required to complete this vital work according to manufacturer specifications in workshop conditions.”
