Three Auto Glass Companies Ranked in Franchise 500

Three auto glass companies have made Entrepreneurs 38th annual 500 franchises. Those included are considered to be among the strongest, and most poised for growth in the world. According to the company, each company is considered by the same criteria, based on financial data from previous years, and how much growth the company has experienced. Also included is the stability of included companies, financial strength, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations, and financing.

Novus Glass came in at No. 85 on the list. The franchise was founded in 1972 and has more than 1,700 franchisees throughout the globe. Approximately 234 of these franchisees are in the US. The franchise investment is between $49,970 – $268,895, with an 8 percent royalty fee. The franchise agreement is 10 years and renewable. The fee for the franchise is between $14,995 – 29,995. Approximately $25,000 is needed in liquid cash to get the location off the ground.

Approximately 75 locations are based in the US. The investment needed is $227,000 – $450,000. The agreement is for 10 years and renewable, with a $30,000 franchise fee and a 5 to 8 percent royalty fee. Approximately $100,000 in liquid cash is needed.

Glass Doctor made the list at No. 244. The franchise, founded in 1962, is listed as having approximately 164 locations in the US. Total investment for franchisees is $111,800 – $281,000 with a franchise fee of $35,000 and a renewable 10-year agreement. The royalty fee is 5 to 7 percent. Financial requirements for liquid cash is $100,000.
