JN Phillips Auto Glass Expands Services in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont Markets

JN Phillips Auto Glass, a New England-owned company and provider of auto glass services to New England drivers and businesses, announced a major investment initiative for servicing auto glass customers across Northern New England, including New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.

The company plans to open eight auto glass service centers across the region during the next 36 months. It will also expand its mobile fleet and establish a major auto glass distribution center with a wide array of auto glass parts to supply its service centers and mobile service vans.

“This expansion is a natural extension of the services we currently provide to our customers in southern New Hampshire and southern Maine, to whom we have been providing mobile auto glass service for many years. Having convenient drive-in facilities and a large inventory on hand and close by will allow us to best fulfill our convenience promise and to respond to the demand for a fast-response, high-quality, affordable auto glass service in these markets,” said Maureen Confalone, managing director of JN Phillips.

The company expects to enter the Vermont market through its newly-developed licensing program, which benefits consumers when existing auto glass companies become part of the JN Phillips Auto Glass technology and service system.

“We are currently servicing the markets with mobile service but look forward to expanding the geography, as well as having the facilities for customers to come in the shop. Some of the local shops may be challenged with having an ADAS solution, and we believe they may look to us for assistance where we have a solution in place and are currently recalibrating the cameras with ADAS features. They may also want to look at our technology and licensing offerings, which could provide them advantages. It is our goal to add 50 new jobs in the market,” Confalone said.

Confalone added that JN Phillips is not concerned about Safelite’s acquisitions a few years ago, including Giant Glass in Boston.

“Many consumers and agents want to do business with a local company.  We are a local company that has been in New England for over 70 years with many loyal customers and business partners,” she said.

In addition to windshield replacements and repairs, the scope of services provided by JN Phillips includes handling auto insurance claims for customers, the first windshield recycling program in the country, and state-of-the-art calibration expertise required when servicing cameras on “smart windshields,” which are central to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
