Uniban Canada Acquires Go! Glass and Accessories

Uniban Canada announced its acquisition of the Go! Glass & Accessories banner, mainly located in Southwestern Ontario and in the Maritime Provinces. Franchisor of the UniglassPlus, VitroPlus, and Ziebart brands in Canada, Uniban Canada now adds 15 experienced franchisees to its network of over 145 shops and 300 mobile units.

“This acquisition complements our branded Auto Glass store count in Canada with the addition of over 30 new franchise and corporate locations in the last year. We believe that the PH and Uniban vertically integrated solution, with our leading insurance claims management offering and distribution centers, allows us to offer a dominant global solution to our customers that focuses on the principles of integrity and innovation,” said Marc Desmarais, president and CEO of Uniban Canada and COO of the PH Group. “We will continue to do what is needed to bring value to our customers and to make our global solution a winning proposition for all the stakeholders of the industry,” he added.

“I am happy to be passing the Go! Glass & Accessories torch to a company as commendable as Uniban,” said John Day, founder of Go! Glass. “Go! Glass & Accessories will continue to grow and reach new heights thanks to their expertise. It’s a real pleasure to see an independent automotive glass company grow within Canada.”

Both companies will continue to operate under their respective identities while uniting their efforts to allow customers to benefit from the numerous synergies generated by the acquisition.
