Association Committees Meet at Auto Glass Week™ ‘17

Bob Beranek spoke at the AGSC Annual Member Meeting this morning.

Auto Glass Week ‘17 opens tomorrow in West Palm Beach, Fla., for all—except the committee members of the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) who have been meeting there since Monday.

Yesterday, the AGSC Education Committee met and spent the day updating both the content and questions included in the AGSC Certification program. The AGSC Board of Directors also met and approved a number of new programs and certifications. Members were briefed on these during the AGSC Member Meeting earlier today as well as the group’s work on providing information about and around ADAS technology. The member meeting was followed by an AGSC Lunch-and-Learn for the insurance community. A group of approximately 50 received education about safe glass installations.

The Board of Directors of the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) was also scheduled to meet in the late afternoon but had not done yet as of press time.

The show opens tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. Registration opened today. Visit for the full event schedule.
