Auto Glass Week™ Show Floor Busy and New Products Abound

Carlex unveiled a new booth this year which included a demo of its new VistaClear Pro, which the company said drew a ton of attention to the booth.

Auto Glass Week officially opened yesterday, and of course one of the highlights was the new products on the show floor.

PGW talked about all its offerings, including the fact that it now offers Bosch Power Tools. Company representative Monica Peterson also stressed the fact that the company doesn’t just sell glass but also offers superior customer service.

Carlex Glass America LLC announced that it has partnered with Teflon™ brand to introduce VistaClear Pro™. The product, launched for the first time at Auto Glass Week, is a professional-grade, all-weather glass treatment that can be used for automotive windshields. It can withstand and repel rain and road grime for up to a full year with one application—something Carlex says is unique in the industry. Company representatives say the product can repel more than just rain—bugs hitting the windshield can be cleaned off easily as well.

“At Carlex, we are constantly innovating our products to improve the performance and the quality of our windshields–even after installation,” said Gonzalo Reyes, vice president of Aftermarket Replacement Glass at Carlex. “We fabricate automotive glass to the highest standards in the industry and are very excited to bring our customers a new product with advanced technology for their windshields to improve visibility, day or night.”

Mygrant Glass was also in attendance and the company’s Drew Johnson said the show was going great and he was pleasantly surprised at how many people were in attendance from the West Coast.

The show continues through Friday. Stay tuned to www.glassBYTEs.com™ for more from the show.
