Auto Glass Companies Ranked Among Top Franchises for Veterans

Entrepreneur released its 2017 Top Franchises for Veterans list recently, which is comprised of 150 franchises that offer incentives to veterans looking to become franchisees, and two auto glass repair and replacement companies were among them.

Companies representing the auto glass industry include Waco, Texas-based Glass Doctor and Lexington, N.C.-based Interior Magic.

Glass Doctor, which landed on the list at number 89, was established in 1962 and began franchising in 1977.

The franchise offers glass replacement, service and repair to the automotive, residential and commercial markets. It currently has 166 locations across the U.S., and 14 others in Canada.

As an incentive for veterans, Glass Doctor offers a 15-percent discount on its franchising fee.

Interior Magic made the list at number 124. The company was founded in 2003 and became a franchise in 2004.

The company focuses on auto appearance reconditioning services, including windshield chip repair, headlight restoration, paintless dent removal. The company also provides a number of vehicle interior services such as vinyl and leather repair, steam cleaning, fabric repair and dyeing and stain and odor removal.

The company offers a 25-percent discount on its franchising fee for veterans.

Entrepreneur considered several factors when ranking the top franchises, including how veteran franchisees are incentivized and supported by the company, and how the franchise scored on Entrepreneur’s 2017 Franchise 500 list.
