Auto Windscreens Introduces CitNOW to Bolster Transparency with Partners

As part of the Auto Windscreens End of Year Innovation Conference, the automotive glass repair and replacement provider announced it plans to adopt CitNOW technology to enhance and aid transparency with its insurance partners.

Taking place at the business’s newest fitting hub in Northampton, managing director of Auto Windscreens Rupert Armitage announced the partnership alongside Gordon Grant, global sales director at CitNOW, in front of an audience of insurance and broker partners, key suppliers and media.

Starting January 2018, every technician will be able to video the vehicle while he is pre-repairing the glass. This footage will then be made available to partners, ensuring security and transparency on every vehicle inspection, according to the company.

The announcement follows Auto Windscreen’s year-long education campaign around Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as well as the implementation of a ‘technician tracker’ and most recently, the introduction of the plant team to expand its offering.
